Anything planned for you and your machine(s)?

Yes, I'm out with the Land Rover series 2 Club, Central Shires area. We are having a road run starting at the Super Sausage Cafe on the A5 at Paulsbury for breakfast. Then finishing at Stoke Bruerne Canal Museum for a lunch and a beer or two. I'm not driving on the day as my Land Rover is off the road for an engine conversion. So, I'm getting a ride with a mate in his Series 2A for the day. That means I can drink a lot more and get dropped off at home... Sounds like I'll be having a great day. Rolling Eyes Wink Laughing

Provided this year's MOT inspection doesn't thwart our plans, we'll be out and about in Derbys/Notts/Lincs or S. Yorks.

ummmmmmmm it's usually late morning kind of thing, say 10-10.30 onwards, with most entrants having departed back to the start point by 1pm or thereabouts.

Hi all,

We took ole Dodgey out for Drive it Day today, and headed over to our friends' 1928 garage to meet up with a few others and watch the Cheshire Run (for older lorries) go by.

Below, a few photos of our cars, some of the commercial vehicles that we saw, and the odd old car that drove by.

I went out with the Land Rover Series 2 club.

Spotted this Magnet in the car park.

Had a plan but then SHMBO had a conflicting appointment pop up on Saturday so took Jowett out for its first run of the year to local attraction for lunch. Ran well popping along at a comfortable 45MPH on reasonably flat stretches. Had lunch and then would it start - NO! - I had a spark and fuel (about all this is needed in the pre-electronics-screwing-things-up era), but nothing happened. Got recovered. Yet to determine if spark and fuel are occurring at about the right time. Sad
