Never been fan of Rolls Royce or Bentley, always thought them a bit ostentatious, but I must admit that that one appeals. Very nice indeed. |

My neighbours have had a succession of Bentley and Rolls Royce.
Next door bar one had a Bentley "T" series from the early 70's which he later changed for a late (1975) Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 1.
An Aston Martin V8 was an interlude until he bought a light metallic blue Silver Spirit in 1990.
My immediate neighbour from 2002 - 2005 bought a Bentley S2 shortly after arriving here.
It made my vehicles look rather humble.
The Bentley Eight in the OP's post looks superb! _________________ Starting Handle Expert

Ooooo that's a car I'd like to own one day, preferably dark maroon or dark blue. Any photos?
RJ | This is the only one I have at the moment, taken a few years ago on a day out with my late wife. [img][/img] |

Fine looking motor.
Any plans to return it to use?

Hopefully restoration will start in a few weeks, I took it off the road to do a couple of jobs, but you know how it is with old cars once you start poking around. The bodywork has suffered from a mix of corrosion and bodged repairs. I have recently overhauled the brake system due to someone using the wrong fluid, the sight glass O rings were like a pair of rubber lips which had swollen to the extent that they almost blocked the sight glass.
I would like to get it back on the road for the summer if possible, but I need to practice my welding.

Hi RJ,
I will take a few photo's and post up some pictures of the horrors that I need to address and also some pictures of the better bits.
