Hi.
My 1951 Lanchester is positive earth and dynamo charged. Is there any advantage in flashing the dynamo and running it as negative earth? I am not that worried about originality much more about reliability so if negative earth is an advantage in this respect then I will change over. Any experience out there please |

I have run my car for over 30 years on positive earth without a problem but there is a lot to be said for negative earth in this day and age. You can plug in your satnav and recharge your phone for example. I regret not doing so when she was rebuilt a few years back. |
