I recently read about a tank that was found buried in Kent I think. It was a WW2 Canadian tank that was used for training and then buried instead of being taken back with them. I will try and find the story.

Parry-Thomas's car was buried in the sand dunes near the village of Pendine after his accident. In 1969 Owen Wyn Owen, an engineering lecturer from Bangor Technical College, received permission to excavate Babs, which he spent the next 16 years restoring.

I remember this being extracted & shown on film,cheers,JD.

Yes, that's the tank story we saw. I remember now we read about it at the tank museum just recently.

The Wolseley Gyro car was buried, then later exhumed and finally scrapped.
