Whatever else is good about that, IMO the wheel covers (spats?) ruin it. I hadn't noticed them until 52classic mentioned them.

People forget that they were very popular at the time. The Marina 1300 was basically a Morris Minor in a party frock - but they were quieter, quicker and more comfortable. I covered well over 100,000 miles from new in mine and it was relentlessly reliable.
