He seems to be putting great value on it being a Countryman rather than just a van with windows; I may be wrong, but I believe the roof vent indicates it being a van not a Countryman ... _________________ in the garage: 1938 Talbot Ten Airline

OK I'll stand corrected; I understand the roof vent is a key feature in distinguishing an A35 van from a Countryman, and assumed the same here _________________ in the garage: 1938 Talbot Ten Airline

The car in front of the Wiki A40 would be good for "The old-car quiz".
It appears to have the type of rear lights used on late 50s Rovers but what are they on in this picture?

Whatever it is the rear overhang appears to be quite short compared with a lot of cars. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

This is the also the case with the 100E Ford estates [Squire & Escort].
Allows the rear suspension to better support heavy loads, I suppose? |
