Guilty as charged, three come to mind.
Flight Motor Spirit.
Wakefield Castrol, but this was probably used for oil, not sure on that, nice to be corrected if wrong.
And Redline.
The Castrol one I bought through eBay, and cost £30 including postage from New Zealand.
I think I may have some more but not of great value.
A friend of mine Has a collection of about 30ish, he loves to clean them up and paint them _________________ Paul

I have a few on the shelf, my favourite has to be the one I found in my Grandfathers garage after he passed away. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Last year I visited fellow SS owner, Ruud de Pater in the Netherlands and Ruud took me to visit his friend Bas de Voogd who is a big name in the MG world and from whom Ruud got his SS.
Unfortunately Bas is now wheelchair bound but still retains a very impressive collection of petrol cans.

I have just had a donation from a good chum, of an Eversure Fillacan.
Just checked out your article on these items!!
http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/eversure.htm
Mine is a battered grey colour....and needs the proper mushroom-shaped rubber seal...currently a large round rubber disc, and a bit of steel rod!
Seems it may have once ridden about in a Bond Minicar? Although probably spent a good part of its life in the back of various serious Land Rovers?
Donated because I managed to reverse over a plastic can, with spout....full of diesel! Luckily, the hole appeared at the top, so I saved most of the precious liquid! [seen today's fuel prices???]
Old age..forget to close the rear door too! |

The local gardener was round next door today, he had a couple of the modern copy Jerry cans. They were quite small so presume they were the 5 gallon cans. He said they were cheap. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
