Hello all
I?ve been painting my 1958 morris Minor back to its original sage green. The previous paint was dreadful so it?s all gone back to bare metal. I?ve painted a few panels building up from Epoxy primer, enamel primer, undercoat and top coat. I?ve been rollering the paint on and laying it off with a Hamilton Prestige lay off brush which so far.. I?m really pleased with how flat the paint settles. Just out of interest and to try and get an even better finish, when laying off what do you folks recommend in regards to the lay off brush and having it lightly misted with white spirit? At the moment I?m laying off with a dry brush but I just wondered if people had used thinners or white spirit on their brush in the past and what sort of results has this achieved.
Thanks
