Having had my late father's Wolseley at mine a few weeks back for a tinker, I found a couple of the plug caps were loose on the plug terminals. Having had a good look at the leads etc they didn't look in the best condition..probably the originals.( I tightened the inner terminals of the caps which improved the running)
I've sourced a nos side entry cap, I'm assuming the leads screw into it.
Any recommendations for good quality copper leads and decent plug caps?
Engine is 3.0 straight 6.

Thanks[/code]

Good insulation is the important thing with HT leads, go for 7mm silicon leads (you can get them with a period braid cover) ,decide if you are better with straight or angled caps, I preferer the softer "rubber" type caps as they seal over the plug insulator (again better insulation) and the tight fit over the plug physically keeps them on the plug.

If the car has a radio go for resistive leads, it won't make any difference, (compared to straight copper) to the spark.

I always make up my own. Only investment is a crimping tool and a box of sundry boots and terminals but always handy to make up a spare. So you can customise to suit a very neat installation.
