We usually attend Abbey Hill, not with a vehicle though. My Brother is taking a couple of his along and we may visit just for a day but will see what the weather does first!!

Its usually well attended and has some good working exhibits.

we are giving it a miss this year, doing 2 smaller shows/meets instead this weekend, when you have done them quite a few times it does get a bit all the same.
we wont be too far away from it though!
i went there first in 1983 a very hot day.

Personally for me I don't find it a show I want to go to every year.

I took my youngest there last year and we didn't stay all day, it was cold and very spread out.

We might head over the bridge to Caldicot Castle on the Bank Holiday Monday, there's a wartime event on that sounds interesting.

Last time I went to Caldicot Castle was for a Medieval Banquet back in the late '60s or early '70s.
