We had 100 pairs of Morris 8 track rod ends made, unfortunately they were were made with the incorrect socket thread; they should be 5/8" 20tpi, they are 5/8" 18 tpi, there is a RH & LH thread in each pair.
Pic shows the length of 20 turns (I cast some hot glue in the TRE, to check thread pitch)

The ball bolt taper dimensions are:
Taper length 7/16"
High diameter 0.501"
Low diameter 0.431"
Bolt diameter 10mm

Outside Socket diameter 22mm

Brand new and boxed, shame to just scrap them!

If they are of interest you can contact me :

spares@morrisregister.co.uk

or via the Morris Register info centre 0333 006 5255

New track rods, as you say, would be the answer. The ends you show are a notable improvement on the original spring loaded design, which I opted for on grounds of "originality" . I now wish I had not spent so much money on them.

(Another option would be rose jointed ends that they use in racing.)
