Yes, all a bit DIY I would say. In fact photos can be deceptive. I have just noticed a fair sized dent in the sill under the driver's door.
Still, I think if you didn't pay too much, it could quite easily be brought up to the next level. I quite like the colour scheme....but I feel I would probably soon tire of it.
Back to failing paintwork...I repainted my Triumph GT6 to concours standard (I know it sounds unlikely but it really compounded to a fabulous standard) ...but a few months after doing it, I noticed cracks across the roof. I was devastated and had to do it again. |

That's the main problem when trying to have everything perfect. And if something is perfect, the trouble is in trying to keep it perfect.
The very reason I do not aim to have something perfect. I am usually happy with less than perfect _________________ a car stops being fun when it becomes an investment |

I fully accept that my efforts will come to nought; after all, unless you believe otherwise, we are all on a road to nowhere. |

It looks to me as if whoever painted the car has not overlapped the 2 colours and left a gap that moisture can penetrate. |

Thanks Dave. That's a hard lesson for someone to have to learn.
Good advice. |
