Last week we were expecting an Amazon delivery, it was flagged as delivered by DPD, with a picture of the goods that was clearly not by our front door!
I didn't recognise the door in the picture and Amazon were on the verge of sending a replacement item, when a local in the village who's house our goods had been delivered to came round with the missing item.
I contacted Amazon to say we had the goods and thought no more of it. This afternoon a DPD driver came round and apologised as it was his fault for the mis delivery.
We all make mistakes but to make the time and effort to apologise when I sure he has a demanding job, not brilliantly paid job was really nice, so fair paly to the driver and I respect him for coming round to apologise.

That is pretty good of the delivery driver. They are usually in such a hurry as they rarely even have time to stop and speak. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
