The Coventry Motor Museum is home to several Ferguson concept vehicles.

The earlier car there is referenced as an R4 but is actually a R3F.
It seems that there were five of these known as R3E, R3G R3F, R4/1 and R4/2.

There are also two of the later cars there, R5/1 and R5/2.

My question is, where were all these bodies built?

I'm not sure of the period of the cars you mention but I wondered if Standard might have contributed to the bodies? That said apparently Harry Ferguson parted company with Standards in 1959. Failing that then perhaps Jensen?

The R4s were first built in 1953 and have a similarity to the stillborn Jowett CD with that distinctive scuttle area and Jowett hub caps, those cars were built by Briggs but they were bought out by Ford.
The R5s were built in 1956 or 57, so Standard Cars could have been a possibility, the hub caps look like the early Triumph Herald type.

Standard did, of course, have a history with Ferguson through the TE20 etc
