Have heard of the following vehicle available, in the Stafford area, open to offers. Here are some details from the 3 emails I've received:
"Just seen your site on the net, I have a 1973 Commer Highjwayman Motor home, with 62,700 genuine miles, Needing a little restoration to bring it back to prime condition. Do you have any contacts/ or know of anyone requiring such a vehicle?. I am in Stafford area"
" I bought the commer to be a retirement project, but as so many times in life things do not work out as planned -- I developed Arthritus, and unfortunately it took over very quickly, and have just come out of hospital after having both knees replaced, what they all --XXXX law or something along those lines, So no, the van does not have a MOT"
"Body work not bad for its age, I think a little woodwork has gone under the aluminium at the rear near side-- { as you know it is all Ali rear of the cab} slight bit of rust around the cab area but nothing that a couple of weekends cannot maybe cure, will try to take some photos when the weather settels-- [oh for a nice day,and its light], Engine was very good last time i started it up--will have to get organized when my legs are a little better. The only trouble is that i will think that i can tackle anything again and have second thoughts of selling--always seems to happen to folks does'nt it. Price --open the offers, but will really make a very good carravette for some one with the interest"
If anyone is interested, drop me a line with your details and I'll forward you his contact info
