Made a note the other day of the regulator fitted to the ute, its 12v and has RF95\2 L2 stamped on it, does that match any of yours???

I've got a new RF95/3 in a box here, and the one fitted to the ute (12v) is RF95/2, do you know what the difference is between these 2 models???

Hi Rick

The only difference is a slight change to the votage regulator cutout components, the 95/3 has better radio supresssion, both interchangable.

If you fit it give all the contacts a good clean, as they tend to oxidise up in long term storage, and you don't get any battery charge, also use all the "outputs" correctly, they are different for good reasons. You are controlling both voltage and current, often folks who have been use to more modern devices, just pick a couple of the outputs at random, which can result in poorley charged batteries , blown bulbs etc.

Hi Dave

I have only joined the group recently and was wondering if you have any of the Lucas RF95 12 volt still left by any chance. I have a 1948 Morris M10 and need one for it.

Waiting with fingers (and toes) crossed
