There is a chrome strip on the bonnet of my Austin 10. It is not in great shape but worse, refuses to budge (to let me fix the rust underneath it) I suspect it has not been moved in 70 years and the rust has virtually welded it to the bonnet. Does anyone know of any place that would make a chrome strip to order? I have never seen one advertised in any of the usual places. The reason I ask is -if I ever get the thing off, it is bound to be damaged in the process.
