|
|
Hi,
Anyone have any Chevy wheels like this -
They need to take 6.50*16 or 6.00*16 tyres
and have the small lugs for the chevy hub caps
Happy to purchase 2 or swap for the 4 that were on the Chevy
Cheers |

Hi dalbuie,
If you get no response to your request here, perhaps try Billy Alexander? He owned Alexander Autos in Glasgow, an American vehicle specialist, but recently down-sized to a smaller operation after serving the American vehicle community for nearly 30 years. If he can't help then I reckon you'll be struggling.
He's in Paisley Rd, Renfrew and the last telephone numbers I have for him is -
0141 561 5432 / 6416.
Mobile - 07801 694854.
Tell him "Bob with the '57 Chevy" recommended him to you.
Scotty. |

Many thanks, I'll give him a try.
I have found 2 down south along with 4 hub caps - but this still leaves me at least one short.

Would be good to have a reasonably local, reasonably priced supplier.
At least I have 4 that I can use while searching.... |

I'm disappointed you found Billy expensive, he was always very good to me and went out of his way when I needed parts for the Chevy. I never found him overly expensive, although I do accept he added a handling charge to parts he ordered in for me, but I felt he had to make a living.
Did he overcharge you for parts or a job? |

Billy is good at sourcing parts but his prices are way over the top.
I have a mate who took his car in for a service and when he showed me the invoice I could not believe the total......Ouch _________________ ROVER
