Sadly I have decided to let my goddess go
I have other vehicle commitments including a DS Prestige restoration and I have just been offered a Facel vega HK500 in need of work

Greeney, can you not keep the Citroen, and sell me the Facel Vega instead? I'd give it a good home, and I'm good with Chrysler engines, even the small blocks! |

The Facel I have just bought was 18000euro not a bad price as its a runner and the engine has only done 38000klm
The body is in need of TLC but nothing major, I have just ordered a couple of books from Amazon to get to grips with it
I know I will cry when the DS goes but The prestige DS is a lot rarer being only 186made _________________ www.OldFrenchCars.com

Mine is the 383 chrysler V8 6.2 1960 with torquflite gearbox

Did you know that the A727 (Torqueflite) can be push started?
8 seconds? I'll build you a motor! We should halve that time! |

I did know that about push starting as they fitted the same to an Aston DBS I had, many English cars used it including RR

Can you post a photo of the engine without air filters please?
My 300 is 4.8 secs at 2.5 tons....and theres another one on the forum that will be faster.... |

I am not sure if I am right but I think the FV had the same engine as the 300
