What is that floor covering in the photos? Looks like that kids' play surface from IKEA or somewhere.

I got the tiles from Eco Tiles, not the cheapest to buy but great quality and should last me forever

Thanks for that. Just checked; they are a little bit dearer than floor paint aren't they! Very nice though; I do envy your garage.

While i have spent years under lifts of one sort or another, and enjoy the access and all wheels free facility of a two poster, i vote for a four post. Working on older cars, a two post could do damage. A four post would be safer, and if you get the type to which sliding center jacks can be fitted, you can still have wheel free but the jacks are under more solid parts like axles.

Hi
Seeing as how the moderns have this plush detached accomodation, I do hope the p2 isn't kept in the dog's kennel. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

The P2 is tucked away in the other garage right beside the central heated radiator to keep her warm Wink

What a garage. I could spend all day in there. When I was on the tools I felt safer on a 4 post ramp although the 2 poster gives you more room to work.

Way back in the 70's 19 not 18 when i worked in the motor trade i had a Bradbury wheel free four post lift this came in a kit form brand new, with this i could lift a car lock the inner beam's and drop the outer ramp's making wheel removal easy.

Not much headroom, I have the same problem with my old Westinghouse lift, I have never used it with the ramp fully up.

Regards Kels.

There is enough headroom to get one car on the ramp and fully extended to maximum hight with another car stored below
