Hi
There will be an open afternoon at the little garage I mentioned in http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/forum/phpbb/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3826&highlight=belsize
There will also be visiting classic bikes from Yorkshire Classic Bike club and Girder Classic Bikes.
May be other cars as well, particularly if any of you can come.

These early cars with their Edwardian instrument panels and centre throttle pedal are very attractive but like Rick I could be very tempted by the Belsize truck. Unrestored vehicles that are in basically sound order and running are much more interesting than concours cars.

Hi
Re the truck.
I don't know it's exact status at the moment, but it looks like the wiring would need sorting to be road legal.
apparently he took it to a show a while back and was awarded the "Best Crowd Puller" prize because so many people felt that way about it.
Incidently that Rover 75 isn't restored either, it is original paintwork etc. because it isn't as old it doesn't show it's age so much. |

That Rover 75 brings back memories of my first car LRB 844. Mine was a Rover 60 with the smaller engine and a slightly earlier, but also Derbyshire, registration. Oh, but mine was a maroon which faded so quickly it needed polishing weekly to maintain colour and shine.
The identical double dipping solenoid headlamp interiors are fitted in my Austin Hire Car. Removed from the Rover when I fitted Sealed beam units.
