The mother of a friend of the family (soon to be my Uncle) apparently bought the last ever Wolseley car. I know this car is now at the British Motor Heritage centre at Gaydon, but does anyone know anything more about the vehicle, ie are there any photos out there of the handing over ceremony (presuming there was one)

Presumably it would be the Wolseley version of the BL wedge/Princess? |

Why not simply ask them in an e-mail? You can contact them at enquiries@heritage-motor-centre.co.uk
The Wolseley listed as part of the collection is Brown and has the 2200cc six cylinder engine.
I had one on order at that time but it arrived as a Princess and not a Wolseley! _________________ Keep Torqueing,

I can't boast seeing the last one off the production line, but there used to be a Princess wedge shaped one in Ramsgate, Kent which I used to see everyday long after that style of car were a common site. In fact, it was the only Wolseley variant that I have ever seen in the flesh. I wonder what the production numbers were???????????????????????????????????????
