A little 1000 grit sandpaper, rubbing compound and a final touch of Meguiar's plastic polish is all it took to make my 49 year old instrument cluster look like new. (I've also used this technique to restore plastic headlights)

That, along with a little Meguiar's Mag and Aluminum polish (and a little fabrication for the radio bezzel) put the finishing touches on the dash.
