Hi Rick i really want it finished for next year.100% for Cromford classic show in derbyshire thats in october.But i would like june.I am ging to fit the wings Get some carpet for the floor,Some how fit plywood the inside of the roof.Then fit the front seats Hope to brush paint the outside.Then i could use it.Fit the cupboards out when its on the road.I am after some 1950s cupboard handles,knobs would like chrome.Does yours need a mot.

Sounds good - mine's MOT exempt, due to age and weight, however I'm not 100% sure what the cut-offs are on this.

I have now fitted a heater for the truck.She never had a screen demister.So i cut the dash and fitted some vents into the dash,then i fitted a mini heater.The photo is the vents fitted in the dash

This is the start of the roof inside lining.The original was plywood painted,i took the old off and the painted the roof as you can see in the other photos but now i fitted insulation.Then started to recover in ply.I am not sure if i will paint it i may cover it in something diffrent any ideas.

Getting there.I could not bend the plywood at the back of thetruck.Untill i found flexi ply fantastic ply.

This is the electric skylight.I know its not original but it will be nice to see the stars at night.

The original plywood was fixed with little tack nails,but i dont know how they nailed them in as the roof rails are steel box.So i tiger sealed the plywood it took me a week to fix up as i had to stick one bit each day.Prop up with wood.Oh never get tiger seal on your hands it wicked to get off.Next job it to cover the roof.Iam not sure if i should paint it cream,as some kind of cloth cover would be so hard for me to do as there lots of curves in the roof.I have now sanded the joints so its nice and flat.

Thanks i will be glad when she is done.Anyway i have had a stainles steel roof rack made i have got to fix the hardwood latts.

You can also see i have fitted some safety star lights as tail lights and turn signals as the other rear lights are quite low down.
