As the chancellor puts yet another 2p on petrol and we struggle to pay for it... It's nice to know there are people for whom it will become an even better little earner. 'It's an ill wind etc. etc...'

They don't have to worry about public opinion any more (not that they ever did.) New Labour is brown bread. Next year we will be swapping one gang of thieving, incompetent, liars and traitors, for another.

Let's just hope they don't have a scorched earth policy. Sad

Oh good I feel like a good rant.....the people who are most likely to be affected by this are the very people that Labour is supposed to stand for, hard-working families with not a lot of money. While it doesn't affect rich people at all as they can continue swanning around in their Range Rover Sports and can afford it! All so the government can make money for the scrappage scheme, which has lead to the destruction of loads of classics and also low mileage moderns with plenty of life left in them Sad

This government is digging itself into a bigger hole with every stupid scheme they come up with, in their effort to win votes, they are in fact losing most of their core voters!

I don't think it matters one hoot where you live.
The little man will always be at the bottom.we've all seen that communism doesn't work,so whereto from here?
It's all very well to blame the pollies, but the fact is,most of the population is too apathetic to do anything about it.
So just have a good old moan, and get on with life
It's funny, but our petrol has just dropped 3 cents.(New Zealand).
Whoopee!
