newly powder coated wheels ,

Took our last opportunity to see her before she goes off to the trimmers on monday . As you can see she is fairly complete and perhaps the best news was that after standing for nearly 6 months she fired 1st time .

nipped over yesterday as she was back from the trimmers in a strange way i was disapointed as we would not have her back for the local volvo meet this month, she was surposed to be at the trimmers for 3 weeks that has turned in to four - it all started as i drove up i could see blue through the trees so go excited as it was the first time i had seen her outside since she was taken there last year, when i got there i was half expecting to see her back and all the bits there and waiting to go back in so we could get her back soon as it is 7 months, instead she had just got some of the carpet fitted the seats door cards will be delivered later, the front screen should be put in today all the wireing has been completed and now another little list of things we are still missing the odd bit of door seal and as we had to have the two front doors replaced the drivers side trim is fine but the passenger side is out so the door will have to come off again be filled resprayed and trim re fitted the hinge has also got to be sorted as it will not shut right so we are waiting again. As simon says it is better to wait than to have her back and things are not right
never mind they do say "good things come to those who wait" |
