What was your favourite or most memorable year.
Mine has to be 1964.
That was the year I passed my driving test and got my first car.It was a 1956 Consul mk1.in black PGA 738. I only paid £40 for it,which would be equivalent to 2 weeks wages then.
Great records out then from the Stones,Beatles,Kinks,Beach boys to name a few.
Right into females then as well....miniskirts the lot (not me) Happy days eh.Wouldnt mind turning the clock back just for a day or two.
Steam railways , old buses, British cars, full employment. Those were the days. Yes it was a very good year. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

I wasn't born until 1969, but when I figure out how to build my 'Time Machine' we'll go back to 1964 if you're up for it?
The vehicles and music sounded good but it's the talk of Girls and Mini Skirts that swayed it for me |
