Blimey you get about a bit as that was in Warwick tonight. I was there as well. Loved the Steam powered carousel plus the traction engine.

Hi
What a neat little pannier basket.

Was that sort of thing common?

Hi

RotaryBri - Yeah popped down for a few hours, got back pretty much as I posted the pics. I was on the gallopers centre engine talking with a friend most of the night. It was so busy, I couldn't believe it! Were you there just looking around? Did you see the morris van with the organ in the back? The fowler is one of 4 ploughing engines, 2 pairs they have. The garett was from Leintwardine!

Rick - A view of the future do you think? hehe! It was an excellent evening, I might take the penny next year, and I might stop down there, as it was a long late night driving there and all the way back!

Penman, my modern PF has a set of panniers on it, but I have no basket, I am not sure how common they were in the day. He has a C1870 machine there, and it is a teenagers model, hence the small size. He also has a replica lamp in the front wheel, I say replica, as he coppied an orriginal, and then swapped the orriginal for the bike you see! Very Happy

Cheers

Dave
