Just starting out on old truck restoration. What a marvellous thing the internet is. Must have been very time consuming in the past looking for spare parts. I have been going over the motor today, made a list of needs and spent tonight looking for items. Have lots of leads and prices already. maybe not as sociable as the old way but certainly fast. Forums have been excellent.

I agree FB. Years ago, it was a case of trying to find owners of similar vehicles to your own, and then start discussions and negotiations. Main trouble with that was that often the part that you wanted was the one that always broke or wore out and therefore the one that every other owner was looking for. _________________ Dane- roverdriver but not a Viking. |
