Great news for Sand Gropers! (West Australians) As of 1st January this year we no longer have to have licence stickers on our windscreens.
I don't know if this applies to the whole of Oz or just W.A.???
They are the equivilant of the UK tax discs except that they are 2" high x 4" wide transfers that we stick onto our screens giving licence expiry month and year. Now the police do what they have been doing for years, scan your number plates to get all your personal details on their "in car" computer screen instantaneously.

I suppose traffic wardens can identify tax dodgers who might otherwise go unnoticed but it would be good if the UK follows your lead and we could use the licence holder for holding a vintage disc or possibly an Old Classic Car forum disc.
