I found this at the weekend at the Cuckoo Fayre in Laughton, near Hailsham East Sussex.
Cant be many around.
A Sirram 12v Electric car kettle fro late 1940s or early 1950s.
Sirram mad some lovely picnic sets, but I haven't seen many of these kettles, especially unused.
It cost me £4.00 a bargain I think

At 18 amps draw I don't think I'd use it too often,unless you're carrying enough passengers to push your car |

Yours made in the England by Sirram..mine made in Hong Kong by Siran..i would rather use yours than mine..i'm not sure i could (A) trust mine and (B) wait 25 mins for it to boil..while driving

I love the name, sounds same, and typical of early foreign imports.
It reminds me of the Sekon watch i had when a teen, remove the small logo after the name and it revealed DA. It was then a dodgy Sekonda and they way they got round the import. |
