Are the lock buttons on doors pretty much standard?.The plastic ones on my P5B rover have all broken off,I'm sure they're the same as old fords (Cortina etc) does anyone know if they are?.

Do you mean the ones inside that you push down to lock the door? From my recollection most of these used to screw onto a wire end that was threaded a bit like a self tapping screw. If all fails a small machine shop or hobbyist should be able to fabricate a replica. If you need help PM me.

You will find many sorts that will fit - even in car accessory shops in ally or timber too
