I have just made a spot repair to the rear window surround of my Light 15 by sanding down to bare metal, filling sanding and priming etc.. I have re-sprayed (spray can) the area and I am quite happy with the results. Should I now "polish" the area with very fine paper or what?
Some advice please on finishing a spot repair.

Allow to set hard - 1 month then either use 1600 w/d paper (wet) or coarse then fine cutting compound (or Brasso). Do not press hard _________________ Rover P2
