Hy guys, on poking around under my P3 Rover I noticed that the bump stop that sits over the diff has gone and all that's left is a small round plate with a stud that goes through to the area under the rear seat, it looks like a mini exhaust bobbin with the rubber missing, I guess I could get an exhaust bobbin and cut off one end but has any one got an idea for something a little more "heavy duty" but in the same style that's easy to come by of the shelf from a modern vehicle from a local dealer? |

Depends what you want but a Series 2/3 Land over bump stop is more substantial and dirt cheap and could be cut down to suit
Otherwise a Classic Mini front suspension version is smaller
Only do Rovers (but not P3) but there will be plenty of alternatives _________________ Rover P2

The car has only just had its MOT so I knew it wasn't an issue and I was just giving the prop shaft UJ's a few pumps of grease when I spotted it, but when we do a rally and I take my wife and her two sisters plus all the fold up chairs and picnic stuff etc (bless them but they do like to make a day of it) she sits a bit low at the back (the car that is not the wife) and on a bumpy rally field I was worried she might "bottom out" although the two axle bump stops are still OK. I like the sound of a Land Rover one, its sort of keeping it in house with the Rover theme. |
