Now I'm going to be the first to admit I'm not sure what it is, seems to be an early 1930's Standard, if so it's a very rare car. £1500 seems a lot though.

That radiator looks wrong for a standard.
Hasn't the Standard got a raised section centre top.
The rad looks a bit like a Hillman

Hi Richard,

I initially thought Roger was right. Possibly a Wizard but the details of the body don't match any Hillman. (Position of vents, window, door and waist line shapes.)

I think it's a 1932 Standard 9

If there is that much confusion over what make it is I assume that it has no documentation and probably no registration plates, so, better the rodders make something out of it and register it as a special or whatever. Personaly I would like a bit more for £1500.

Probably the Big 9, but I seem to remember it shared the body with a larger engined model.
