i have been trying for weeks to find a supplier in germany for shim stock. in the 60's we had sheets of it in the stores of the garage where i worked. is it no longer available in small quantities?
i thought i would easily find a supplier here to actually produce the shims that i need in small quantities but no.
perhaps someone can help with a solution in the uk for my 1929 praga alfa.

Hi,Just seen your post. If you go to uk.rs-online.com (or Google RS Components) & in the search pane write ' shim steel ' you will find all sorts of shim sheet & packets of assorted shim steel which you can purchase on-line.
