Does anyone know what tool I need to remove the door hinge pins from a Ferrari 400? They are solid with a circlip at the top end and due to the curvature of the door skin, I can not get in at a straight line to use a drift. All the tools on eBay etc. are for the split tube type of pin. |

Hi
Might be a daft questio, but have you already removed any retaining strap stopping the door opening further then normal?
Seems strange to have a pin which is driven in upwards, are the hinges removable from either the door or the post? _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Penman: Yes I have removed the door check strap. The hinges are welded to the door post and fixed to the door with 4 very large straight-slot screws which I can only see with the aid of a mirror and didn't really want to disturb as they must be the aligment screws.
Roger: I have followed the FAQ on use of photobucket. I hope it works!

Hmm... that gives you a new page with small images. Let's try the other way...

...well, all the HTML code is pasted but it doesn't seem to work. I will come back to this. |

Roll the cursor over the thumbnail of the image in your bucket, after a short pause a drop down apears, click on the IMG code.
The code should fade show 'copied' then the code is back
Open the page / message you wish to post to while holding down the Ctrl key press V
The code should apear
Click on the Preview key before submit to check the post is correct, or to your liking,
Satisfied with it? then Submit
PS if the code dose not change / fade but changes to blue (highlighted)
With the code shown blue hold down Ctrl key press C (copy)
Back to your message Hold down Ctrl press V (Paste)
Those last two short cuts work for any C&P Copy and Paste in 99% of software or webpages |

Roger,
Many thanks for the tip - and you have done it for me! Now I have to find out how to add those lovely red arrows in whatever photo editing program I have.
