VSCC Loton Park 2012 photographs.
My previous visit to Loton Park, in 2010, for the VSCC's hillclimb meeting, was blessed with fine weather and again this year all the important runs managed to avoid rainfall. This year I attended on day two, when the official timed runs took place. Although clashing with the Goodwood Revival this year, there was an impressive turn-out of cars and spectators, although it was a shame that no ERAs were present.

This was the twentieth occasion that the VSCC had held a meeting at this scenic motorsport venue, a hillclimb course that has witnessed competition cars ascended its twisting hill since 1960. The venue is organised by the Hagley & District Light Car Club, and has been since 1970. The course that the drivers must attack measures 1,475 yards in length. From the start they negotiate Hall, a left-hander before tackling Loggerheads and Fletcher's Dellow, before a spirited downhill run into the right-hander at Triangle (which is where most of my on-track photos were taken), before climbing away once again upto the left at Keepers, along to the right-hand bend prior to Cedars Straight, then into a series of turns that culminate with a sharp right at Museum then a dash to the finish line.
