Split screen Series 2 Morris Minor saloon car.
Des dropped me a line, wondering if I could suggest any ways that he could track the current whereabouts of this splitscreen Series II Morris Minor, registration HVG 59. It belonged to his grandfather until 1959, when it was sold. According to the DVLA site, there is still a record of this car in existence, therefore the car may still exist - or else the car may have been scrapped and the licencing people not notified. Perhaps someone in a Morris club could advise on whether the car appears in their records at all?
