Ford 100E picture. The only 100E Popular I've seen fitted with a cat - an under-bonnet cat! Most 100Es have disintegrated since they were built in the 1950s so seeing ones with such a clean under-bonnet is interesting. Unlike the earlier sidevalve lumps those in the 100E have a built-in waterpump and the dynamo mounted on the side of the block.
Picture of 100E at the Astle steam fair.Do you have any info on this particular exhibit? I'd be happy to add to (or correct!) the information I have on this 100E.
All the photos in this section were taken at Astle Park in 2005, on what was a very very rainy day! The Ford shown above got a real drenching - top marks to the owners of all the old vehicles on show, I'm sure they'd rather their prized vehicles were tucked away out of the inclement weather. Despite the efforts of mother nature, the 100E looked really well and is a credit to its owner. |

In all I've put 75 photographs from this classic show on oldclassiccar, you can see the other pics of old cars, lorries, steam traction engines & road rollers, motorcycles, and even bicycles on the main Astle Park gallery page.
