Leyland Comet picture.

This coachbuilt body fitted to a Comet chassis caught my eye in the commercial vehicle section. I'm not quite sure what its original purpose would have been.

All the photos in this section were taken at Astle Park in 2005, on what was a very very rainy day! The Leyland shown above got a real drenching - top marks to the owners of all the old vehicles on show, I'm sure they'd rather their prized vehicles were tucked away out of the inclement weather. Despite the efforts of mother nature, the Comet looked really well and is a credit to its owner.
