Scammell Scarab picture.Two Scarabs are seen here side by side at the Astle Park show. The cab section on these unusual Scarabs was based on that used on the Bedford O Series (at least thats what someone once told me!).
Picture of Scarab at the Astle steam fair.Do you have any info on this particular exhibit? I'd be happy to add to (or correct!) the information I have on this Scarab.
All the photos in this section were taken at Astle Park in 2005, on what was a very very rainy day! The Scammell shown above got a real drenching - top marks to the owners of all the old vehicles on show, I'm sure they'd rather their prized vehicles were tucked away out of the inclement weather. Despite the efforts of mother nature, the Scarab looked really well and is a credit to its owner. |
