Standard Vanguard Sportsman picture.

Based on the Phase 3 Vanguard was the higher specification Sportsman model. This one has the correct 2088cc engine and was built in 1957.

All the photos in this section were taken at Astle Park in 2005, on what was a very very rainy day! The Standard shown above got a real drenching - top marks to the owners of all the old vehicles on show, I'm sure they'd rather their prized vehicles were tucked away out of the inclement weather. Despite the efforts of mother nature, the Vanguard Sportsman looked really well and is a credit to its owner.
