Citroen 2CV picture.Photo taken at the Audlem Festival of Transport 2005.
Originally designed for French farmers to cart their wares across bouncy fields the 2CV became a design legend. Production of the tin snail ended in the late 80s. Most of those still around have had their chassis replaced due to the rot-prone nature of the originals. If you have any more specifics on the Citroen pictured here, by all means get in touch. This photograph of the 2CV is one of the 105 photos that I've put up on the site, all taken at this Cheshire car and vehicle show in 2005. |

If you'd like to see the other photos that I took on this classic event, just go to the main Audlem Festival of Transport images page. The event began with the old cars congregating at the village green in Hankelow, and driving down in a leisurely convoy to the exhibition fields in nearby Audlem. The photographs shown here are a mixture of views taken from both locations.
