Background information on the Ford Prefect E493A photograph:

The early 50s Prefect continued with the sit up and beg styling of the pre-war car but with restyled front end coachwork. Propulsion still came from the wheezy pre-war designed sidevalve engine that also appears under the bonnet of some 10cwt Ford pickups I have.
