Ford Prefect E93A picture.Photo taken at the Audlem Festival of Transport 2005.
Seen here in wartime blackout guise is an early Ford Prefect. Postwar cars would have revised front wings and many other detail changes. Note the white painted bumper and headlamp covers. Cars driven during the blackout in WW2 would often have their wing edges painted white to aid their being seen in the darkness. If you have any more specifics on the Ford pictured here, by all means get in touch. This photograph of the Prefect E93A is one of the 105 photos that I've put up on the site, all taken at this Cheshire car and vehicle show in 2005. |

If you'd like to see the other photos that I took on this classic event, just go to the main Audlem Festival of Transport images page. The event began with the old cars congregating at the village green in Hankelow, and driving down in a leisurely convoy to the exhibition fields in nearby Audlem. The photographs shown here are a mixture of views taken from both locations.
