Background information on the Jaguar E-Type V12 photograph:

The V12 was the last of the line for E-Type production. This one dates to the early 1970s and is in very fine condition. The E-Type was used as a rolling testbed for the new single-cam per bank 12 cylinder engine before it was introduced in the XJ12 saloon. I once owned an early XJ12 and can vouch for this wonderful engine.

The event began with the old cars congregating at the village green in Hankelow, and driving down in a leisurely convoy to the exhibition fields in nearby Audlem.
