Background information on the NSU RO80 photograph:

An unusual German car on show was this wankel-engined Ro80. An advanced car for its day the Wankel type of engine didnt take off with most manufacturers. Mazda have however continued to offer cars powered by this type of engine.

The event began with the old cars congregating at the village green in Hankelow, and driving down in a leisurely convoy to the exhibition fields in nearby Audlem.
