Background information on the Vanden Plas 1100 photograph:

The BMC 1100 design saw many variants being produced to satisfy a broad range of buyers. The plushly appointed VDP was aimed at people wanting the comfort of a Jaguar without the size and running costs. The interior was all wood and leather in the VDP and did a good job of providing its owner with a comfy driving environment.
