1930s Austin 20 Hearse.
I think this is based on the 20hp Austin Six chassis but please correct me if you know more about this particular hearse. It looks to be in very original condition with a great patina to it. Did it get restored? I saw a restored Austin hearse in 2006 but I don't think it was this car - different screen arrangement etc.

The Austin photograph above wasn't taken by me, but by G. King, and is shown on oldclassiccar with his permission. His photos were taken at various locations a few years ago, including photos of classic Austins such as the 20 Hearse shown above. From what I can tell, some of the cars and vans featured were seen at shows (eg at the NEC and Alexandra Palace in London), whereas others were spotted out and about in daily use, or parked up at the side of the road. If you own the Austin shown here, or know the story of this particular 20 Hearse, by all means get in touch.
